FAMILY: Born on the Llyn peninsula in the north of Wales to Delyth Heulwen Jones and Albert Harvey Pettigrew. He has no siblings.
BIOGRAPHY: Peter had a rather conservative upbringing. His mother, Delyth, was very protective of him from the beginning, but she became even more so when Peter was bullied at his Muggle school. From then on, she took it upon herself to home-school him rather than run the risk of him being picked on again. Although both of his parents love him dearly, they never made Peter feel like he was significant or special, mainly because they expected nothing of him.
It was a great shock to Peter’s system when he began at Hogwarts. Going from having no children around him to living with hundreds of them, as well as being away from his parents, took some getting used to. But with the help of his new friends James, Sirius and Remus, he soon began to adjust to school life, and found the holidays at home stifling. So much so in fact that since third year, he has taken to spending the majority of the summer in a fellow Marauder’s home, alternating between all three.
PERSONALITY: Peter loves his friends and will always be there for a friend in need. He is naturally a good listener, and is very kind towards others. He firmly believes in being polite and would never insult a person, not even unintentionally. He also has the uncanny ability to occasionally shock everyone with his wit and pearls of intelligence!
Peter cannot stand up for himself at all. He never tries too hard to do anything as he feels there is no point. He refuses to address the fact that he has low self-esteem, believing that ignoring is the best way to make anything go away. He also tends to worship and idolise people he looks up to, particularly James.
APPEARANCE: Peter is quite short. He has blonde hair and watery-blue eyes. He has a pinched nose. When not in uniform, he is most likely to be seen in a long leather jacket that he readily believes makes him look like Sirius (and thus as cool).
